Deploy Marathon using "marathon" as name break the DC/OS cluster

    Details

      Description

I noticed that in 1.9, deploying a Marathon app using "marathon" as name seems to more or less overlap with the underlying DC/OS Marathon and breaks the cluster.

      • Services section in the UI not available,
      • Not able to remove an app without getting an error
      • etc.

This regardless to the group name which is available for Marathon.
Apparently, some labels/env variables like DCOS_SERVICE_NAME does not takes care of the group name.

To me, this is very disappointing, especially for new users. This is ususally one of the first things you do when doing a PoC.
And as uninstall currently imply a complete reimage, the experience here is quite bad.
